With Ledger Recovery Key

New Ledger Recovery Key – an additional, modern, convenient, and secure way to store your recovery phrase in a physical yet technological format. It is especially useful if you want speed and comfort when restoring access to your cryptocurrencies. However, don’t forget: you must still keep the main backup (recovery phrase) yourself – in a paper or metal Recovery Sheet form, since without it, recovery depends only on the card and PIN.

Personal backup card, where your 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase (SRP) is stored inside a PIN-protected Secure Element chip.

The card works completely offline, and data transfer to another Ledger device is done via NFC connection (“tap and go”).

Security is ensured by a Secure Element chip where the data is encrypted, accessible only with a PIN code.

If the PIN is entered incorrectly three times, the card automatically wipes itself – an extra layer of protection.

The “Ledger Recovery Key” is not meant to replace the traditional paper Recovery Sheet – it is an additional, more convenient, and secure backup tool.
