NOMAD was established as a Kickstarter project back in 2012. Noah Dentzel and Brian Hahn met in Santa Barbara, California (USA) and came up with the idea to create a minimalist iPhone cable that would seamlessly integrate into users' daily carry. "ChargeCard" was the first "Nomad" product, which was presented on Kickstarter on July 18, 2012. The guys started from Noah's grandmother's basement and changed their headquarters several times from Agoura Hills to San Francisco and finally returned to Santa Barbara, California, where the NOMAD headquarters is now located.

Currently, NOMAD is a globally known brand associated with luxury and particularly high quality. Due to the uniqueness of the products, NOMAD is also part of the image.
